Welcome

Celo Friends Meeting is an unprogrammed Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Our worship service is based on meditative silence, and vocal ministry arises when Friends are moved or called to share a message. Worship is currently taking place on Zoom. We are members of the Southern Appalachian Yearly Meeting and Association (SAYMA) which is affiliated with Friends General Conference. As an unprogrammed Meeting, we have no clergy. We instead have co-clerks to provide administrative leadership. Friends are historically a Christian denomination, and we are open to the teachings of other Faiths.
